UPDATE: We've added a second bus trip to accommodate up to 110 people. The first bus will leave GYB at 3:15, and the second will leave at 4:00. Pick up times at Fish Tales will be at 9:30 and 11:00 pm, depending on traffic.
We haven't had anything at Noah's Ark in several years, so I thought it'd be a good new (old) location. Arrive at 3:00pm to enjoy the Great View of the Bay for awhile before dark and do some day drinkin', or later and stay as long as you like. We need a minimum of 50 to attend to have the upstairs Parrot Nest Bar for our private use. It's completely enclosed, so a good venue for the colder months. Everyone will have separate checks.
Music will be provided by Greg Stephens 4:00 - 8:00 pm. There will be a minimal $5.50 fee when registering to cover the entertainment. Registration and Your TMCA badge will be required to attend.
Registration is required because I have to turn in head count on Feb. 12.
See Houston like you've never seen it before as you kayak down Buffalo Bayou. We start at Memorial and 610, thru Memorial Park, past River Oaks, and take out just before downtown Houston. We use a service which will take us to where we drop off and has all of the equipment - or bring your own.
REGISTRATION IS CURRENTLY ON WAIT LIST STATUS for this cruise. We are working with the Marina Staff to place the boats that are currently Registered for the event. It is a small marina, and they have to accommodated a 'Flotilla' that is part of the Festival Event and then they will be able to confirm which of our boats they can accommodate based on their size. In the meantime we have started a 'Wait List' that they will try to accommodate after that. We expect to know which boats have been confirmed with a slip sometime in February. The 'Wait List' will be open until we know.
Ready to spread your wings in the comfort of other boaters? Join us as we head to Lake Charles for the Louisiana Pirate Festival. We'll conveniently stay at the Bord du Lac Marina, right next to the Lake Charles Civic Center. We're setting the capacity to 10 boats while we work with the marina. Please sign up for the wait list when full so we can see if we can still work you in.
