Anchor Testing in soft mud

This is a link to a Practical Sailor Magazine article reporting on testing done by Fortress Anchors in Chesapeake Bay which apparently has bottom conditions very similar to Galveston Bay. The tests were designed by Fortress but they tested pretty much all the popular anchors and Practical Sailor agreed with the methodology enough to consider it fair and be the basis for their article. There is some very good information here as well as some things you and I might disagree with but that happens in most anchoring discussions. Click here for a link to the article and let me know what you thought of it.
