Easter Cruise - Double Bayou

Cancelled Due to Corona Virus

Sadly, the Easter Cruise to Moody Gardens is cancelled due to the pandemic crisis.  The Moody Gardens Hotel and Marina will be closed for the next 8 weeks (including Easter) and there will be no staff on the property.  Refunds will be issued.

Friday Events:

• Cow Patty Toss & Happy Hour late afternoon - bring a snack to share
• Hot dogs around the camp fire provided by cruise leaders
• Story telling competition around the  bonfire
• Come roast your peeps & marshmellows 

Saturday Events:

• Easter Egg Hunt for the kids at 3:30pm
• Easter Happy Hour and Picnic to follow (HH at 4:30, Picnic at 6)
• Another bonfire and peep roasting

What to bring:  table, gang plank for ease of stepping off your boat, 2 spring lines (recommended 1.5x length of your boat), stakes to attach your spring lines, folding chairs for shore and a great attitude

The pasture is a unique experience you won’t want to miss, up the east fork at Double Bayou and a very remote location.  This is the location of our traditional French Picnic where many TMCA memories have been created.

Come join us and use this as a shake down cruise prior to Spring Fling.  Feel free to join us on Friday or Saturday, whatever works for you.
