4th of July Anchor Out @ Wussy Bay & Shell Beach

Celebrate 4TH OF JULY WEEKEND with TMCA!

We will be enjoying the weekend on the hook over at Houston Yacht Club's protected anchorage deemed "Wussy Bay", just NORTH of Houston Yacht Club. 

Great little anchorage with easy proximity to a small "shell beach" area where we could all assemble to meet others who decide to drive over for this event. We will bring over our boat grill and can do hot dogs on the beach, fly a kite, blare some music, and let loose on some floats!

There WILL BE FIREWORKS at Houston Yacht Club on July 4th at night (details to come), so this would be a super awesome show to watch from your boat, a friend's boat, or even a beach chair if you plan to drive over! 

S/V Huzzah (Emily and Carlos Ribas) will be there by the afternoon on Saturday. We will need to come back to Waterford by dark on Monday (sadly, we do not have off on July 5th), so we might be missing the fireworks. 

For those of you who wish to stay until the morning of July 5th you may do so! Stay and watch the show!

• There is talk that we can possibly acquire guest passes to the 4th of July festivities at HYC, but I will have more details on that soon.***

• For those who do not wish to anchor out overnight, we have SEPARATE REGISTRATION FOR HOUSTON YACHT CLUB TRANSIENT SLIPS***

• PLEASE REGISTER FOR THIS EVENT AND FLY YOUR TMCA BURGEE SO WHE KNOW WHO TO LOOK FOR AND SPOT OUR BOATS ;-)
