August TMCA Monthly Meeting

Our August Monthly Meeting will be at the Clear Lake Elks Lodge, 

623 Hanson Road, Kemah, Texas.

Socializing and dinner orders will begin at 6:00 pm and the business meeting begins at 7:00 pm, with the presentation to follow. 

Spencer James will be the speaker this month. Spencer enjoys reading, exploring coastal areas, photography, and traveling. He is deeply passionate about historical research, particularly focusing on the maritime history of Trinity and Galveston Bays, including the early aids to navigation and lighthouses on these local waters. His topic will be: “Keeper of the Double Bayou Lights: The Life and Legacy of Job Beason.”

Come early, enjoy dinner and visiting with members and guests.  Be sure to wear your name badge.  We hope to see you there!
