Cinco de Mayo: Texas City Dike Beach Bash!

Get ready to spice things up! For 2026, we are trying something a little different and a lot of fun. We’re heading to the iconic Texas City Dike for a festive Cinco de Mayo celebration on the water and on the beach.

The Experience

This cruise is all about the "anchor-out" lifestyle. We will be dropping hooks in the protected waters north of the Dike, creating our own TMCA raft-up community. Once the anchors are set, grab your dinghy, paddleboard, or kayak—we’re heading to the beach!

The Dike is known for its vibrant atmosphere, and for Cinco de Mayo, the energy will be infectious. We’re hoping to soak up some local Tejano music and join the shoreline festivities. And if the beach party doesn't find us, don’t worry—we’re bringing the party with us! Whether it’s sharing tacos on the sand or enjoying a sundowner from the cockpit, this is going to be a weekend to remember.
