The Dinghy Poker Run on Clear Lake: High Stakes on Low Drafts!

Grab your life jackets, fuel up the outboards, and get your "game face" on! We’re taking the fleet small-scale for the inaugural 2026 Dinghy Poker Run. This isn’t a race, it’s a high-stakes scavenger hunt across Clear Lake where the only thing better than the cards you're dealt is the company you're with.

How It Works

The mission is simple:

1. The Route: We will navigate to five different waterfront bars and restaurants around Clear Lake (locations revealed the day of)
2. The Cards: At each stop, every dinghy crew will enjoy a refreshment and receive one playing card.
3. The Showdown: By the final stop, your crew will have a full 5-card poker hand.

The Loot & Prizes

We aren't just playing for bragging rights. We will have special prizes for:

• The Winning Hand: The crew with the best poker hand takes home the grand prize!
• Best Dressed Crew: Themes, costumes, and matching gear are highly encouraged.
• Most "Spirited" Crew: For the boat that brings the most energy and the loudest cheers.

Event Logistics

• The Fleet: This event is open to all dinghies, tenders, and small craft.
• The Briefing: We will meet Saturday morning to go over the route, safety protocols, and talk about the stops.
• Safety First: We want everyone to have a blast, but safety is the priority. Please ensure every crew has a designated "Sober Skipper" to handle the dinghy between stops.
